What to expect the first time you visit TCCC

If you have never visited Trabuco Canyon Community Church, you are in for a real treat. Pastor Robert remembers the first time that he and his wife, fresh out of seminary, went to find it. “Located on the top of a scenic hill, with a 300-degree, panoramic view, it was (and is) unlike any other church in Orange County,” he says. “My wife and I were infatuated with the location—and fell in love with the people.”

Here is some information that first-time visitors might want to know:

• Most services last about an hour and 15 minutes. We begin with asking God to bless our service (a Call to Worship and Prayer); lift our voices together in song; confess our sins to the Lord; receive pardon from His word; and lift our petitions before the Lord (Intercession).
• Kids are dismissed to Sunday School just before the sermon begins. The sermon lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, followed by a closing song and the Benediction.
• Parents who might be concerned about infant children disturbing the service will be happy to know that there is a nursery room at the back of the church where one of the parents can sit with the child, still able to hear (and see) the service through a large window.
• After the service we have refreshments in our fellowship hall. Please take a moment to stop by and get to know us a bit (and on most Sundays, enjoy some after-church coffee and treats).
•The first Sunday of the month, during the worship services, we celebrate Communion. If you are a Christian, we welcome you to participate during that portion of the service.
